Aidan has over ten years experience as an environmental consultant and research scientist specialising in hydrogeology, hydrology and environmental geology. The majority of his work has involved field-based, laboratory and modelling studies of groundwater and contaminant hydrochemistry, contaminant and tracer transport, aquifer and well-field vulnerability assessment and surface-water/groundwater interactions. Aidan has also worked extensively on risk assessment for groundwater resources and is particularly interested in the hydrogeology and geomorphology of karstic limestone aquifers.
