We have been delivering moorland and catchment surveys and management schemes across Lancashire & Yorkshire since 2013 and have now produced a portfolio of the majority of these projects, which may be viewed HERE.

We have completed over a dozen projects, mapping in total over 500,000 m of grips, and many hectares of hagged and bare peat. Our portfolio includes a number of moorland restoration designs and project management of three major moorland restorations, the latter within the Ribble Catchment part of the Yorkshire Dales. Our largest project to date, Cam Fell moorland restoration, funded by the Ribble Rivers Trust, Heritage Lottery Fund and Natural England, has been ongoing since early August of this year (2017) and is due for completion by mid-November and looking set to fall well within the capital works budget of £345,000. This project has involved extensive use of returfing to recover bare peat, using methods recently pioneered by the contractor Barker & Bland (Dalefoot Composts) Ltd.

Please see the portfolio for more details, or contact us if you are interested in our Catchment Management Services.
